As you probably know Las Vegas Badminton Club has closed its doors on August 26th 2022. This is a sad news for a lot of us. 

As badminton enthusiasts we have created this site to keep the sport alive in Las Vegas.

There is a real possibility badminton could come to Henderson, NV as well. Please voice your preferred days and hours to help us make it happen:

Stringing Rackets

Finding places to string badminton rackets in Las Vegas, NV can be a challenging task. There are only a few stores that offer stringing services, such as Sports Authority or Tennis Store. However, these services can be expensive and not always available. Since badminton is not a popular sport in Las Vegas compared to other places in the U.S., it can be difficult to find good stringers.

Here is an idea. There is a place called VIP indoor pickleball. The 3 courts can easily be badminton courts if nets are changed. They currently rent the courts for $40 per hour. But lot of the times, the courts are not booked. If the courts are available for badminton, maybe at lower rates , these courts would be rented a lot more. It's a win win idea both for the business owner and the community

Hello everyone. Itā€™s been just over 2 years now without a dedicated badminton gym. Iā€™m more than happy to announce that there are some major plans in the works. For the UNLV players, no more playing badminton vs the sun. ā˜€ļø I was able to find a space that is willing to let us do badminton. Some details I can share at this time: - it will be 4 courts - ā it will be more of an upscale vibe - ā badminton mats/flooring donated by LVBC (thank you to Henry) - ā court rental and possible open gym times (more details later, but open gym is just dependent on how many hours are being booked the previous week) - ā it is not too far from where LVBC was - ā it will be called Pioneer Badminton Club (Las Vegas) For my players that have been there since the very first LVBC, you all know too well what the past two years have been like.. bouncing around to different communities centers depending on the day of the week.. and now weā€™ve come full circle again. We have come to that point again where we realize how important it is for our community to stay together and enjoy the sport we all love so much. We deserve at least that much. To start and keep this new club alive, we need the communityā€™s help. Please spread the word that a club is coming. More details will come in the following days. -Phil

Hi Justin. Unfortunate news. The water damage is so extensive that the repairs are scheduled to be finished close to the end of this semester, which is early to mid-December 2024. Ouch! Not to mention, this all happened after putting brand new floors on level 3. Sorry.
